01 — CAMPUS LIFE

Creating a safe, respectful, and responsible campus environment.

Zero Tolerance for Ragging

Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any instance will be dealt with sternly by the Anti-Ragging Cell and may result in disciplinary action, including possible expulsion.

Carry Your Identity Card

Students must wear their Identity Cards at all times within the campus and produce them whenever requested by faculty or staff.

Maintain Proper Attire

Formal attire is mandatory for students while on campus, in accordance with the expected decorum of a higher educational institution.

Respectful Behaviour

Students are expected to maintain respectful behaviour. Abusive language, indecent gestures, and disruptive conduct are strictly prohibited.

Participate & Engage

Attendance and participation in seminars, workshops, and presentations organised by the college are mandatory as part of holistic learning.

No Loitering During Class Hours

Loitering in corridors, near the main gate, or within the auditorium during class hours is strictly prohibited.

02 — ATTENDANCE

Attendance Policy

Regular attendance is an essential part of academic progress.

Regular Attendance

Regular and punctual attendance is compulsory for all enrolled students as per the regulations laid down by MAKAUT, West Bengal.

Minimum Attendance

A student must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each subject to be eligible to appear in university examinations.

Attendance Calculation

Attendance will be calculated from the official date of class commencement or the date of admission/enrollment, whichever is later.

03 — ACADEMICS

Examination Regulations

Academic and examination requirements students should know.

University Norms

The college follows applicable academic and examination norms laid down by MAKAUT, West Bengal, including policies related to admission, assessment, and eligibility.

Internal Examinations

Students must compulsorily appear in two internal examinations conducted by the college during each semester. These tests contribute to continuous assessment.

Academic Decisions

College decisions made in accordance with university rules and academic standards shall be final and binding on matters related to examinations and internal assessments.
